Dandi's Story...
Dandi is a 11 week old lab mix.

Dandi was brought to an overcrowded Texas shelter with her sisters. They didn't stand much of a chance because They were so young and the shelters can be such dangerous places for little puppies. We knew we could find them perfect homes here in CO, so we scooped them up and put them into a loving foster home:

Dandi and her siblings have some of the most amazing personalities. It's not often you get a litter of pups and they are all incredibly friendly, happy, and snuggly, but I guess it's not impossible because thats what happened here! All puppies play hard and sleep hard. They have great appetites and love to wiggle their fluffy butts around the house together.

We believe that will Dandi excellent personality he would do great with most home situations. She would be great for a family with kids, or another dog for her to play with. She would also do great in a home with an active young couple, or older couple!
Really, anybody would be lucky to have little Dandi as part of their family :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dandi, a Boulder Labrador Retriever/Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Collie for sale in Boulder, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Collie puppy from a breeder in Boulder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boulder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boulder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boulder paves the way for another one to be saved.
