My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Initial Bio. 9/28/16 Sweet little Lily is now a United Yorkie Rescue Yorkie girl. She is 12 years old and weighs only 6.6 pounds. Lily is being fostered in North Port, FL.

Lilly's adoption fee is $125 and includes all vetting (neuter/spay, dental cleaning, immunizations, microchip and chip registration). A Vet reference, personal references, and home visit are required for adoption. You may apply to adopt Lilly by going to our website at www.unitedyorkierescue.org and completing the adoption application located on our home page.

Meet Little Lilly. This adorable girl was being left alone for hours at a time while her former mom had to work. It was not Lily or her mom's fault that she was left alone for so many hours, but it was very sad. It was so wrong for this little senior girl to have to spend the day waiting and waiting for someone to come home to be with her and give her attention and love. It was hard for her former mom to give her the care she needed. She knew Lily needed to go somewhere where she can get the love, attention, and care she very much needed.

That is when a United Yorkie Rescue angel knew Lily had to become a United Yorkie Rescue dog. In the few days she has been with her foster parents she has received some much needed care. Her dry eyes are being cared for with drops and daily cleaning. She was updated on her vaccinations. The tumors on her skin will be removed in about two weeks, and then she will be ready for adoption.

Lily's foster mom said Lily is adapting very quickly to her foster home and her foster fur siblings. Lily even knows some commands like sit and lie down. She is really smart. She is very lively and full of life. She may be a senior, but she has the spunk and energy of a much younger dog. Don't pass this one by. If you are looking for a companion and a cuddle bug to spend your days with and have the heart to take in an older girl who needs a place to rest her head for her remaining years, which could be more than you think, please submit an adoption application for her. And if you can, please donate to the medical care she needs.

More to come on Lily so stay tuned.
