found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
We do believe that Blazer will be on the very small side of a Border Collie. We are not too sure what he is mixed with, but we are thinking maybe some other kind of Collie.
Blazer was brought to a shelter with his 9 brothers and sisters. They were all in pretty good health, but the woman who brought them in still asked for them to be euthanized because they were an "accidental litter" and she did not want the responsibility of taking care of them. Our rescue couldn't let these sweet babies lose their lives at such a young age so we took them into our rescue. They were only 6 weeks old when they were dropped off, but now they are 8 weeks old and ready to find their forever homes.
Blazer is the sweet and snuggly, but also playful. He does have some puppy energy at times and loves to rough house with his siblings and the fosters bigger dog. He is also good at relaxing. With the right socialization he will be the most perfect dog. Once it's nap time Blazer loves nothing more than to snuggle up close with his siblings in their bed, or with his foster mom on the couch. The foster mom says he is the cutest little thing with his fluffy little butt and happy personality. He will always bring a smile to your face. Blazer will be such a great size for a hiking companion in the beautiful CO mountains. We do believe that Blazer would be great for most types of families. He would do great with another dog to show him the ropes or with gentle, loving kids. He would also be great for an active individual or couple who want a smaller hiking/running/walking dog.
