This sweet, tiny fellow is a bright, loving soul who struggles a bit with trusting new people. When Ditto first came to BEDR, he was very frightened and frequently showed this through biting, but after a few days of gentle patience from his foster mom, he overcame his fear to show his softer, playful side. Ditto is fully housetrained, is learning to walk well on leash, and loves to play with other dogs, especially ones his size. He will need a few days of patience to transition to his new home, and continued training to help him overcome fear when meeting new people. Due to his occasional fear-biting, it is recommended that Ditto not go to a home with children for the time being. His ideal home will have the kindness, patience, and gentleness to help him move past his fear to teach him new things and let his truly loving self shine through.

About Bright Eyes Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a registered charitable organization, located in Regina, SK, Canada dedicated to helping dogs that have fallen on hard times (homeless, abandoned and in some cases, surrendered). With the help of dedicated volunteer foster families, our dogs live as part of the family while they are in foster care right up until they move in with their new family. We strive to help with the over-population of pets by making sure each and every puppy*, adolescent and adult dog is spayed/neutered. (*Note: sterilization of puppies is the owner's responsibility and proof of sterilization must be shown at 6 months of age.)

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption application process , which includes a home visit, help us to ensure we find wonderful, permanent loving and caring families for each one of our dogs. We feel that honesty is the best policy when it comes to finding homes for our dogs; we want to avoid any unfortunate surprises after you bring your new friend home. After all, we are looking for a BEDR life for our dogs! There is an online adoption application that must be filled completed before a home visit will be set up. The application can be found on our website,
