Bryan's Story...
Bryan is a 3 year old male Pit Bull Terrier who just arrived from the Idaho State Correctional Institution, where he lived for about two years. When he arrived as a puppy, he was just this round little boy. By age 2, he had grown up quite a bit. :) Bryan is affectionately referred to as a “T-Rex.” He’s a big boy who absolutely LOVES to play. Bryan does not like to be interrupted during potty time, and he resists restraints but can be tricked with lots of love. He is a strong wiggle butt who is always ready to play any game you have in mind. Bryan has interacted well with some other dogs at his previous location, and he's reported to do well with other kids. Bryan is kennel trained and utd on shots.

If you want to apply for Bryan, please visit the rescue and fill out an application. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bryan, a Meridian Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
