Meet Harley, the sweetest, neutered, senior Rat Terrier you would ever want to meet! Unfortunately, his owner was no longer able to care for him and asked for our help to find him a forever home. At 10 years young, this fellow is calm, housetrained, knows basic commands and has a great temperament. He is not a barker and is friendly with everyone. He is fine with the other dogs in his foster home but doesn't really play much. He enjoys just hanging out with his humans so he could be happy as an only dog, too. Do you need a walking buddy? Harley is currently on a daily walking routine and eating healthier and is now a svelte 20 pounds! Thank you to his fostermom for such commitment in helping him lose those few extra pounds! Harley loves car rides, is great on the leash, uses the doggy door or else will gently scratch at the door to go outside! This guy is a great sleeper and prefers to sleep on the bed with his humans although he may snore a bit from time to time! He has just received a clean bill of health after having a nice doggy dental and an update on vaccinations. If you are looking for a laid-back, loving, gentle companion, please consider adopting this wonderful dog. He will repay you daily with his devotion.
Please complete an application at www.helpadogsmile.org and his foster mom will be in contact with you.
His adoption fee helps with medical expenses of the rescue. Thank you!
