Here's another reason why we hate puppy mills: This adorable little cutie patootie was born in a puppy mill to an exhausted purebred Chinese Crested momma dog who finally gave out from being bred and bred and bred her whole short life, and died shortly after giving birth to her last 3 baby boys. Not wanting the hassle of bottle-feeding the babies, the puppy miller (the low-life who owns the puppy mill) dumped them at a vet clinic. And then the vet called us because they knew that we would do the right thing: bottle feed these babies around the clock, fortify them with proper nutrition and veterinary care, give them lots of TLC and find them homes where they will never be in harms way again.

Rupert is the lover of the bunch! He's what is considered a Powderpuff and is as cute as they come. He might be a teeny tiny itty bit of a thing, but he will never let you forget he's there!! He will pull on your pants leg until you acknowledge him and pick him up and, once in your arms, he will snuggle in like a scarf. And if you're sitting in a chair, he'll demand to be picked up and then curl into your lap so cozy that you'll feel guilty moving a muscle! Rupert is super friendly and very playful with his brothers. And if his brothers aren't available to play with, socks, tennis balls or toys will do. Like many Chinese Cresteds, he's a bit vocal and will talk back if you try to set limits for him -- and he's not even a teenager yet!!

As gorgeous as he is, he may be best in a Crested-experienced home, or at least be sure to read about the breed before applying. http://www.yourpurebredpuppy.com/reviews/chinesecresteds.html Rupert is about 3 months old, he weighs under 4 pounds and will be pocket sized for life. If this pint-sized peanut is the personality for you, please visit www.pinkshelter.org for more information about the adoption process or click here for our online application. Full vetting, microchip and neuter included in his $450 adoption fee. Transport fee is additional $150. IF YOU HAVE AOL or YAHOO PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FILE FOR OUR RESPONSE
