Junior 2's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Junior 2's Story...
I can't wait to learn! I'm a quick study. I've learned a couple of people words already without even trying. I've also learned how to tow a person behind me so I'll need some one to show me the ropes to walk nicely on a leash but I know I'll pick that up fast cuz all I want to do is make you happy. I'm pretty chill after a minute and would love to hang with you at the park. Could you teach me catch? Or maybe frisbee? Yes!!! I want to learn and be your best bud. I'll keep an eye out over you cuz I'm a bit protective of my peeps. Most other dogs are not up to my standards so I don't much tolerate them. If you don't mind, I'd prefer to be top and only dog at home but I promise you, I'm worth it. Just look at my smile, that's all for you!

They call me Junior but you'll probably call me mini-Einstein. I'm only 2 and 30 lbs of pure brain and enthusiasm.

Our adoption process is three-fold: submit an application, meet the pet, then arrange for us to do your in-home interview.
Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.
Some special circumstances may change the fee; see pet's listing for actual adoption fee.

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

Microchip:
CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf.

30 Days Pet Insurance:
As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirst’s toll-free number 855-710-7387 to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Junior 2, a Savannah Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Savannah, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Savannah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Savannah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Savannah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Savannah paves the way for another one to be saved.
