These cuties were on their way into the shelter with their mom Leilani Kai, when they were intercepted by OC Shelter Partners and became Lovebugs instead. Kona, Maui, Lilo, Kahlua, Tiki and Lani have been preparing for their Luau, where they get to meet their forever families. These Hawaiian hounds will mature in the 15 to 20 lb range when full grown. Mom is a Manchester terrier, and pups look like a Jack Russell mix with a lean tall build. They are very gentle puppies and have been well socialized.

Puppy adoption fee is $300 and includes their spay/neuter, registered microchip, vaccines up to date, deworming and lots of puppy kisses! Please complete our adoption application at www.lovebugsrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilo, a Irvine Jack Russell Terrier/Italian Greyhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Italian Greyhound for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Italian Greyhound puppy from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
