Zula's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Zula's Story...
Zula is a really stunning calico teenage cat. Like 99.9% of calicoes, Zula is a girl. We estimate she is about 8-9 months old, so she still has a lot of kitten energy. She loves people-- chatting with them, cuddling on chests, playing with every toy around, and even poking her feet under doors when she can't see her humans.

Zula is very petite and has bright colors. Her sides are a beautiful patchwork of orange and black. She also has very soft fur!

We think Zula would likely to best with a buddy, but she could also be ok as an only cat-- though she will need lots of play from her human if she is an only child. She is very social and outgoing.

Zula's adoption fee includes her spay, microchip, shots, virus testing (FeLV and FIV negative), and general exam.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zula, a Chicago Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
