Meet our Clarence. This boy has surpassed all our hopes and is thriving due to an amazing and dedicated foster, thank you Jessica.
He was found near death at a park, 2 lbs, starved, serious dental disease, matted, skin issues and Heartworm positive. We held our breath through a major dental, neuter and Heartworm treatment. He had a 5-6 heart murmur on a 6 scale. After a couple months in a loving foster, going thru his medical journey he has come out the other side, his murmur is an acceptable 3, he is about 7 years and 3 lbs 13 oz, a Maltese/yorkie mix? He is now ready for his special furever home. Foster info below.
"I can't begin to tell you how proud I am of this little guy. He's a champ. Found in very bad shape in a local park, he's made one heck of a comeback. When he first came to us, he was dealing with serious heart, teeth, and weight issues and no one was sure if he'd even survive, but here we are a few months later with a much healthier and happier pup. He's got the cutest snaggletooth and when he wants your attention, he'll rub on you like a cat. He really surprised me with how quickly he caught on to potty training because he'll go outside and use his puppy pads when necessary. He doesn't care for sleeping in the bed, but he's perfectly content curling up in his bed at the foot of mine. My time with him is coming to an end (very bittersweet) and hopefully he'll find his forever family soon. He's the perfect little house dog and one of the sweetest, calmest, and loving pups I've had the pleasure of getting to know. If you're looking to add a fur baby to your family, Clarence may be the perfect fit. Love you, little nugget
