Rufus is a very sweet 1.5 year old maltipoo who came to us after being listed as "rescue only" as east valley animal shelter. He was returned twice for being "too puppy" and the second time he supposedly "bit" the adopter. He is a young dog who has a lot of puppy energy and can be "mouthy", but is learning proper manners.
He would do best in a home with dog experience and with other submissive animals, as he tends to be dominant. He successfully is part of the dog pack in his foster, but does need proper introduction to new dogs when first meeting.
This sweetness enjoys getting groomed and his hair dyed purple :)
LOVES Food and Treats, and is an easy going sweet guy.
He is not quite ready for adoption, as he is having some health issues currently. Which we hope to get to the bottom of shortly.
Southern California adoption only.
