JoJo is approx. 6 years old, American Bulldog!  He is up to day on all vaccines and preventatives.  Hw negative, neutered, and crate and house trained, although he's never crated
because he's never been destructive and is so mellow.  Jojo does best as the only dog of the home, NO cats, but LOVES every person he meets including children.  He's very gentle with everyone and just wants to be loved on.  Jojo has been through so much before being rescued
on 12/31/2014. He had been hit by a car which led to his tail being amputated.  He had heartworms, benign tumor, was only 78 lbs and had been beaten by a homeless man.  Despite
everything, he is still so loving! Jojo is very low maintenance,  goes out a couple of times a day, doesn't need to run around outside as he prefers to lounge around on the couch and watch movies with his people. He has so much love to give and is looking for a family to call his own.  If this boy speaks to you, please email Juli at Godsdogsjuli@yahoo.com and she will take it from there.  Hope to hear from you soon.

GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - all of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $200.00 FOR LOCAL DOGS AND PUPPIES( Local is in the state of Texas)!  Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.

IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $400.00 for adult dogs and $450.00 for puppies.  We transport all over the country!!

All our dogs are socialized and we try to provide you a good understanding of the dog’s personality. Please visit our website for more information about what we do;  http://www.yourtxrescueconnection.org/.  You will also find helpful information about transport, our adoption application and pictures of our all our dogs/pups looking for homes!!

About God's Dogs Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of loving and dedicated individuals who work together to save as many deserving animals as we can. We work tirelessly to assure the animals are well fed, socialized, are healthy and then find them the wonderful home they only dreamed of in the shelter or starving on the streets.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Please donate on the "Contact Us/Donate" page! Thank you!!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have local adoption events weekly at the Pets Barn on 1604 and Blanco in San Antonio.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption application required. Adoption fee of $150 for local adoptions and $350-450 for out of state adoptions (includes transport fees).
We work hard to place dogs in the right homes, if the adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in Bexar county usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal, help the adopter screen applicants and help facilitate finding another home for the dog.
