Rowdy's Story...
Rowdy is a charming four year old 13.5 pound cat who is looking for his new fur-ever home. This wonderful boy was brought to us when his previous owners were moving out of the country and couldn't take him with them. Rowdy is a delightful boy who is sure to quickly win you over with his charming, outgoing personality. He regularly greets his visitors with the sweetest meow and is almost always looking to be loved on. He enjoys relaxing in his cat bed, has been great with the other cats in the facility, and has loved all the kids who have visited. Rowdy has been a more mellow boy while here, and prefers to go with the flow and cuddle for most of the day. He does perk up with you bring out the laser pointer, and is sure to bring you a lifetime of happiness. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and is microchipped. Stop by to visit with this sweet boy today at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center! We are open from 12-6 daily!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rowdy, a Benbrook Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
