Romeo aka Rascal is a full grown, 3yrs old 41 pound Lab/Doberman mix that strikes quite the pose when you see him.   Despite that defiant stare he is the biggest baby you will ever meet. This boy will talk your ear off complaining how cold he is and how he wants to go back in the bedroom and lay on the electric heating blanket during the winter months!!! He is ridiculous and a big baby !! He is fully house trained, walks great on a leash, loves other dogs but doesn't like care for the cats. He's a people pleaser and will be your constant buddy and shadow in life. This dog is bright and Willing and ready to learn. We do say that Rascal will need a fenced yard to run and chase balls and frisbee.   Agility practices would be a great thing to do with Rascal on the weekends or even in the backyard.  He is a great car rider and will ride shotgun with you forever.   He is up for adventures and loves to meet new people any time of the day.  This boy plays and plays all day with other dogs and if there is a squirrel to chase then he is your guy!Romeo is not a dog that can be crated all day….nor left alone in the house to his own devices.  This boy would need to be company with someone home all day And he would  love to have another dog to play with for hours on end.  If you work from home that would be ideal as well!  He adores children and would be a great Ball chaser and playmate with young children.

About Critter Companion Rescue- MD

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?

Our Adoption Process...

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.
