Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gigi is an 8 year old purebred English Bulldog that was rescued from the shelter after her owner surrendered her because they could not afford her medical costs. She arrived to our rescue with cherry eye, severe ear infections, dental disease and an infected tail. In the last three months she has had surgery on her teeth, ears, tail and eyes. Due to an aggresive infection, a soft tissue surgeon had to remove Gigi's ears and tail. She has gone from being in so much pain that you could barely touch her to now eagerly accepting butt and head scratches! What a transformation!
Gigi is now ready to find a forever home to live out the rest of her life! Gigi's ideal home would be an adult only home. She will need regular exercise to stay fit. Typical to her breed, she can be possessive with food and stubborn at times and will do best with calm and persistent training. Gigi is good with other dogs but would not do well in a home where food and toys are laying around. She loves attention and is happy to lay by your feet. She is house trained, does stairs with ease and is great on a walk (but prefers to stay inside when it's hot out!) She enjoys rides in a car.
