Sirius is a beautiful black Shepherd Mix. He is a regal looking dog who walks beautifully on a leash and loves to play with his best friend Remus. Sirius is a medium energy dog that loves to play but also would be happy relaxing next to his humans in the AC on a cool floor. He was found running in a horrible area of Miami. A nice woman stopped and opened her car door and he jumped right in. He is happy to have a roof over his head and to not have to worry about where his next meal will come from. We certainly woudl ove to see Sirius in a home as wonderful as he is. If you are interested in learning more about him please contact Oscar at 954.605.3407

IMPORTANT; WE ADOPT ONLY IN SOUTH FLORIDA BUT MAKE SOME EXCEPTIONS IN APPROXIMATE AREAS OF Naples, Ft. Myers, Sarasota, Tampa, St. Pete, Lady Lake, The Villages, Orlando, Ormond Beach, Melbourne, etc.

About Shih Tzu Rescue, Inc.

About Our Shelter...

Shih Tzu Rescue, Inc. is a south Florida-based organization that rescues Shih Tzu's and other small, medium and large companion dogs and places them in quality lifetime homes. Shih Tzu Rescue, Inc. has been in existence since 1995 and has a wide assortment of companion dogs available for adoption.

Please visit us on our website to fill out an online adoption application. Once that has been processed and approved we can arrange a time for you to meet the dog.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We show by appointment only after the adoption application has been processed and approved.

Our Adoption Process...

We have an adoption contract that must be completed and approved. We require vet and personal references as well home checks. Our normal response time is approximately 7 to 10 working days. Our Adoption Committee works very hard to place our dogs in environments where they will be most likely to succeed. Please understand that we have more applications than we do dogs and that if you do not hear from us within that timeframe, we currently do not have a dog who we feel would match your needs.

Our fee of $250.00 to $400.00 includes neuter or spay, all shots, and snap test for heartworm/erlichia/lyme. We take care of whatever their medical needs might be before they are adopted.
