Rollie's Story...
Rollie is a handsome black tuxedo who is waiting for a home of his own. He was rescued as a kitten by a volunteer who was on her routine walk. She heard meowing coming from a hill and realized a kitten was frantically climbing up to her. Not only was it a steep slope, when he made it up, she realized his back right leg was injured. Rollie has a lot of luck on his side, but he is also quite a resilient little guy. Our vet confirmed that Rollie has sustained a broken leg, but it had mended and aside from a slight limp, his injury does not slow him down.

Rollie is very friendly and quite curious. He has a lot of energy for playing and enjoys a lot of attention. We think he would do well in an active home. He has been raised in a home with other cats and 2 dogs and gets along well with everybody. He likes to be brushed, petted and can sometimes sit still for lap time, although he'd rather be racing about the house.

Rollie is going on 6 months old. He is neutered, up to date with vaccinations and is negative for Feline Leukemia & FIV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rollie, a Lenhartsville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lenhartsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Lenhartsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lenhartsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lenhartsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lenhartsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
