GORDIE IS BEING FOSTERED IN THE RICHMOND, VA AREA. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN GORDIE, PLEASE GO TO WWW.MOMSRESCUEVA.ORG AND COMPLETE AN APPLICATION.

I’m Gordie and although I look like a little old man with all my facial fur, I’m only 12 weeks old – so get ready for some PUPPY! I love hanging out with my sis Gigi at my foster home but I am excited to find a forever family of my own.

I’ll need a family who wants to teach me all about growing up to be a well-mannered furry gentleman, with people as well as other animals. Puppy class sounds fun and my foster family is already giving me a head start on good behavior.

If you’re ready and you have what it takes to welcome a puppy into your family, go to www.momsrescueva.org and complete an application to see if we are a match!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gordie, a Richmond Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
