Black Canary's Story...
We call her BC for short, to match her spunky, torti attitude. She is fostered in Huntsville, AL, very talkative and bold, but also very sweet and snuggly. A lot of times her talking is just her asking to be picked up and snuggled. She loves to jump up in your lap and curl in to a little ball and sleep while you watch tv or play on the computer (be forewarned, she also sometimes wants to help you type hehe). She loves toys and wrestling with her brother Arrow, but also enjoys the company of our adult cats. She is quirky and adorable and would add a lot of spunk to your cat household. She is FELV/FIV negative, up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped! Fill out an app at www.forresce.net!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Black Canary, a Nashville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
