Nanook's Story...
Nanook
Male
Siberian Husky
DOB: 8/2/10
Weight: 76 Pounds

Nanook is a gentle soul with the sociable, easy going temperament of the Husky. Although still a puppy at heart, he is easy going and friendly with everyone. Nanook is strong, but walks well on a leash. He is somewhat “verbal” when he wants to get attention. This breed does not like being left alone for long periods of time so regular exercise and mental challenges keeps them happy. Nanook is house-trained with a doggie door. A well fenced yard and being a part of a family will keep him happy at home.

Nanook is waiting for that active owner or family that will include him in all aspects of their life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nanook, a Mountain Center Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Mountain Center, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Mountain Center.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mountain Center already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mountain Center breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mountain Center paves the way for another one to be saved.
