Hello, my cat lover friend! I am Bankyo, and I'm 7-years-old and weigh 11-pounds. My breed is Bombay mix. My handsome fur coat is black which looks so pretty with my gold eyes! I was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on September 21 because my owners were moving and could not take me with them. In my first home I lived with dogs, cats, adults and teens but never with children. I do not always get along with cats and should be in a home without children. That will be best! I'd like to be gradually introduced to cats and meet your family prior to adoption. I'm a shy but curious cat and need some time to know new people. I'm very friendly with family and love petting- except for my tummy! I have been neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV (I'm negative), microchipped and have received age-appropriate vaccinations. My hobbies are taking naps, playing with small crackle toys and paper bags and climbing. At home I had a window with a view! I love when the staff and volunteers talk sweetly to me while petting me. It's been quite a change for me but I'm happy and friendly and looking forward to my new humans and home!
