Paia who was named by a generous donor - was one of 34 cats who were dropped off here in cardboard boxes in the middle of the night. We don't know anything about her prior living situation, except for the fact that Paia has lived with lots of other cats.

Paia may take a little while to get used to your family routine, she is a bit needy but will let you know when she has had enough attention. We think she'll do best living with polite, older kids ages ten and up. Make sure you set her up in a private room of her own for the first few weeks with everything she needs; spend lots of time together and begin giving her supervised visits to the rest of the house after she's completely comfortable in her private space. Paia would love to have a kitty condo to play on, as well as an array of interesting toys. Please give her occasional grooming to keep her coat and tail in good condition. Because she lived with other felines, she might really enjoy having another kitty companion. Most of all, though, she craves human attention and affection from you.
