found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Mia is a sassy girl with lots of personality and spunk! She’s the perfect cat for a pet-owner who likes to play and be active with their pets, but enjoys relaxing and spoiling them as well.
Mia was found wandering on the street outside in South County. It was initially thought that she was pregnant, but after she came to her foster home with gastric issues, it was found out that she had a stomach full of tapeworms, roundworms, hookworms, plus lots of ear mites! Mia is estimated at 1.5-2.5 years old. After getting all of that taken care of, Mia is feeling much better and is ready to find her forever family.
Mia is very hesitant at first with new places and animals, but she is always very friendly to new people. When she first came to her foster home with seven other cats and five dogs, she hid for about a week and hissed at everyone for a month, but that is most likely contributed to her feeling poorly because of the worms. After that month was up and her treatment was underway, she started playing with the kittens and really coming out of her shell. She still is not friends with the other adult cats and dogs but tolerates them. It would take her a little bit to adjust, but she would most likely do well with another playful adult cat as long as that cat is not an “Alpha” personality. She does well with dogs as long as she
has a safe place to jump to that the dogs cannot get to her.
If you are interested in meeting Mia, please call or text 314-570-1886. She has been fully checked up by a vet and will be spayed and up-to-date on her shots before being adopted. A home visit, vet reference, personal reference, and adoption fee of $40 will be required for serious potential adopters.
