Hi, I'm Coulson. I'm a German Shepherd mix. My DOB is 11/22/12 My family adopted me from the shelter when he was 9 months old, then was left me outside alone for three years. I have been around small children my whole life and I'm very good with them. I love to play ball. I can get scared when a small child back me in to a corner and scares me, I may feel the need to defend myself by growling or nipping. I don't mean to hurt, so I think I'd rather a family with older children. I am great when you are home with me, I'm so well behaved! I lay on my blanket and chill with you. But if you leave me alone I get very anxious and scared and I kinda chewed up my families couch, rug and tore up out blinds. I do not chew on ANYTHING while the family is home though. My second family tried to keep me in a fenced yard and a metal crate inside the house, but I chewed my way out of both so I am on a chain outside while they are gone but is inside the rest of the time. I will need a kennel that I cannot escape from, or a family that is home with me. I am mostly house trained and had only one accident in a month at my new house. I sit and lay very well. But I need a little work on heel and stay. I am a very laid back dog, as long as someone is with me. I hardly ever bark. I am fixed.

My adoption donation is only $150

About Pack N Pounce

About Our Rescue Group...

Pack n Pounce is a small rescue with big goals. We take in shelter pets and local pets that need a second chance. Our rescued animals are fostered in loving homes rather than in shelter like conditions. This way we can get to know each one on an individual basis and be able to evaluate the best type of owner for each animal.
Our Goals
Stop the euthanasia of unwanted animals.
Educate the public of the importance of training, neutering, vaccinations, proper housing, dental, and medical care so pets can live a long and healthy life.
Convert all Utah shelters to No Kill by reducing the number of unwanted animals.
Rescue: re-home adoptable pets.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our adoptions are held on Fridays and Saturdays, times vary. We hold adoptions at Petco, in Harrisville and Farmington, Utah, at special events, and our local Farmers Market in Ogden, Utah. You can also meet our rescue pets by appointment 7 days a week, day or night.

Our Adoption Process...

We do our best to match each pets personality with a new family, to ensure that our rescue animals go to a forever home.

When you adopt you agree to take on the responsibility of your pet for it's life time. Providing medical care, love, shelter, food and water, etc. We believe that animals need a forever home, and don't take well to constant abandonment. So our goal is to find the home that is going to be best for the animal.

Our adoption fees are very reasonable. Each animal is priced differently depending on each animals circumstance.
