Hi. I'm Mr. Limpet and I'm looking for love. I am an older gentleman but don't be fooled by my age. I still have a lot of spring in my step and can keep up with the best of them during walks. I can be a little shy at first but once I get to know you, I am happy to get a neck scratch or a back rub. I am house trained. I love treats, A LOT. I hope you will be the one for me. Please come ask for Mr. Limpet!

About North Bay Canine Rescue & Placement

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
