These 3 babies were picked up as strays and no one ever claimed them.

We’re working on getting some weight on them as they’re very skinny.

Right now they are a little nervous but day by day they are opening up and showing their sweet personalities.

  • Even though your adoption application may specify a particular dog, the result of a successful application only means you are approved to adopt through HPR, not that you are approved to adopt that particular dog.
  • If the potential adopter causes a delay in the adoption after they are approved, we CAN NOT guarantee the dog you are interested will still be available when you are ready, especially if there are other applicants interested in the same dog.
  • We do not adopt on a first come, first serve basis; we choose the best application to match the needs of each of our dogs.
  • We do not have a shelter facility nor do we have any set open/closed hours. We are a foster based program with all our dogs living with a foster family.
  • A home visit is required prior to every adoption.

About Husky Pack Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Husky Pack Rescue (HPR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit GA licensed rescue volunteer organization that focuses on saving Siberian Huskies and other working dog breeds in North Georgia. Our goal is to educate the community on the responsibilities of owning one of these incredible animals and to help find them loving, forever homes.

Working with committed volunteers, fosters, local veterinarians, trainers, we are able to rescue and rehabilitate huskies along with other working class breeds that desperately need our help. We properly socialize each dog, provide them with loving foster homes, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes.

HPR serves as a resource to our community and all pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.

All dogs brought into our program are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm tested and/or treated as necessary. We stress the importance of these items to help reduce the overpopulation of our shelters with un-wanted, lost and sick animals.

HPR arranges educational and social events which highlight the attributes and needs huskies throughout the year.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Most Saturdays at the Hiram Petsmart from 11 am - 4 pm.

Hiram Petsmart - 4794 Jimmy Lee Smith Pkwy Ste 108, Hiram Pavilion, Hiram, GA 30141

Our Adoption Process...

These are all the adoptable dogs that we currently have housed at HPR. All dogs have their own unique personalities, quirks and some times special needs. So it is best to call us directly if you are interested in one of our babies. We can then explain the dog you are interested in completely and you can make an informed decision about adoption.
Our adoption fee is $300 and this will cover their spay/neuter, all their shots, heart worm testing, first round of flea medication & heart worm preventative and a micro chip.
