** Jack is being fostered by a wonderful family, they are working on some of his trust issues.  He is a little shy at first but comes around quickly.  He loves other dogs and would make a great companion.**

Jack and his three siblings were found abandoned by a vet tech. They were all going to be euthanized that day if SoCo didn't take them in. They were not socialized and fearful of everything around them.  We brought them to our rescue and all started to come around very slowly. They get along very well with one another and love to play. They are smart babies and caught on to routine pretty quickly.  Jack is still somewhat on the shy side but a very sweet boy when he gets used to you.

As of 8/516 it's estimated Jack is approx 6 months old.  Besides being neutered he is current on all his first year vaccinations- his series of 3 first year "puppy" vaccines that help protect him from parvo and other harmful and deadly viruses; rabies & bordetella. and have received his de-wormers and parasite prevention treatments.

If you can offer a loving home to Jack  please submit an application to www.socorescue.com.

About Southern Comfort Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Our rescue is licensed through the State Dept. of Agriculture, with regular inspections being made by them. We are in no way a "puppy mill", rather we take in the stray, abandoned and sick/injured pets and get them back to adoptable status.
We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and do accept and survive on donations from adopters and/or the general public.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a facility that has set hours of operations. This is not a problem for our adopters because it allows us to meet them with prospective pets in many locations - most are much closer to where they live. We travel to many places in Georgia so if you see someone you like, let us know and we'll see if we can meet you somewhere relatively close by.

Our Adoption Process...

We have a simple process to follow in adopting an animal from us: fill out an application, wait a few days and pay our fee when everything is approved!
We have a bit more that we do. After reviewing the application we have to check references and with their vet, then we can send the pet to his new home.
