Lipton's Story...
Name: Lipton
Breed: Pointer/Lab/? mix
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Male

Lipton is an outgoing, confident, social young adult male Pointer/Lab/? mix, and he is a hit everywhere he goes. He loves people, he is great with other dogs, and he'll try anything you ask-- fetch, swimming, biking, off leash hiking. He may not always be good at it, but he's willing to try. House training is going well and he is confined for the workday. Lipton is comfortable with kids and great with other dogs, has not been exposed to cats. He'd prefer a home with some yard space of his own and an adopter to commit to daily walks.

Requirements: No special requirements

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lipton, a Minneapolis Pointer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Pointer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pointer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
