Nanny's Story...
Nanny is an approximately one-year old, deaf, domestic medium hair female. She has beautiful green eyes and markings. Her deafness has not been a problem in her foster home, even with her foster feline sister and four large foster pup brothers running around. Nanny is dog and cat friendly and loves nothing more than snuggling and lounging around the house. She is a little shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she is an absolute sweetheart and "cuddle-bug". She is fixed and liter-box trained and has done great in her foster home!

If you are interested in meeting and thinking about adoption, please visit our website, http//www.wagginghearts.org, and submit a completed adoption application. Due to the high volume of applications we receive we are only able to process fully completed applications. All applications are processed in the order that they are received. On our website you will also find our adoption process and fees. Since we are a foster based rescue we are unable to set up meet and greets until a completed application is on file and has been approved.

Wagging Hearts is a foster-based, non-profit rescue organization.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nanny, a Hainesville Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Hainesville, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Hainesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hainesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hainesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hainesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
