Hello, Tucker here. I am the love you’ve been waiting for. I love snuggles, kisses and just sitting next to you. I have been a perfect gentleman with everyone I meet. Little kids, big kids and grownups. I don’t jump up on people and rarely bark. I will snuggle with you on your bed or couch if you want but will also stay down if that is preferred.

I was a little overwhelmed at first at my foster home because they have four other dogs and two cats. It took a few days for me to adjust to all the commotion and share my foster mom's attention. It's probably best that I be your only fella because it can take me awhile to accept other dogs.  I’ve decided I don’t like cats, so a house without them would be best for me, too. Probably no chickens either because when we go for a walk, I have a little too much interest in birds.

I love going for rides in the car and for walks. If you get my leash, I’m all smiles. I’m pretty good on the leash and will only pull when another dog is barking at me. I love treats and my foster mom is working on teaching me some new things. I have pretty good manners, just need some reminding to stay out of the kitchen when she’s cooking. I don’t growl at all. Even if you pick up my food bowl. Oh, and the best thing! ...I don’t chew things. My little fur sister is always in trouble. She chews beds, reading glasses, hairbrushes...Not me! I'm just the perfect little angel!

It was love at first sight for this guy. Beautiful brindle, big expressive eyes. He bonded very quickly with me and loves attention. He loves his ears rubbed and doesn’t mind you touching his feet or looking in his mouth. About Northwest Boxer Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Northwest Boxer Rescue (NWBR) believes that every boxer deserves a chance to live a happy life in a loving home. Abandoned or homeless Boxers will always find shelter, medical care, and ultimately a new home through the efforts of NWBR. By working with committed volunteers and local veterinarians we are able to rescue boxers every year, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them perfect loving forever homes. Working in conjunction with city and county groups, NWBR strives to educate the public and help end animal overpopulation and needless suffering. The commitment to share the love of Boxers is never ending.

We never discriminate on the basis of health or age. Our animals are evaluated, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and receive any necessary medical treatment before they are placed in carefully screened homes.
