LULU'S SAYS MEET BUTCH! BUTCH will soon be one of the most important pups in your life! He’s a quiet, empathetic sort with soulful eyes, and he always makes certain his people know they are special and adored. Butch loves to sit calmly and let you brush and groom him while you chat about the day’s events. Or, he’s always up for a drive in the country or through town to check out the sites. (He has a favorite blanket he loves to drag around with him, so remember not to leave it at home!) But he’s not all couch potato! He’s a playful, energetic guy who never met a basket of chew toys he didn’t like. He enjoys going on walks and is good on a leash, he tries hard not to pull but needs reminding sometimes. Butch may be shy at first and needs time to get to know and trust you, so take your time... he’s worth it. He also doesn’t like when new people walk into his house and immediately make themselves at home. He is a proper boy who likes and needs a proper introduction, but once that is done he is incredibly sweet and gentle with everyone he meets. Butch enjoys interacting with other dogs and he once had a brother he loved very much. He would be fine being the ‘only’ dog in a family with older children, but he would be over the moon if there were a dog his size to have as a friend and playmate.
BUTCH aka Mr. Butters is a 2 year old, 60 lb. Black Mouth Cur/lab mix and according to his foster mom, “He will make sure you know you are loved by kissing you every chance he gets and pressing his wet little nose on the back of your legs.” BUTCH is going to be a wonderful addition to your family! He is neutered and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Adoption fee is $325. Please note that training is strongly recommended for all dogs. As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing.
