Roscoe's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Roscoe's Story...
Oh this sweet boy is just something else. So full of personality and love! Not to mention how incredibly beautiful and unique he is!!! Roscoe is a wonderful boy but he must go to a home that had experience with with strong dogs. Roscoe is strong and very playful. Cats are a big no-no! But he does just fine with other dogs when the introduction is done properly. He currently stays out (under supervision only) with 12 other dogs and we have not had a problem yet. He will do best with other dogs that are not overly dominant and must be neutered. His best friend is a 4 month old calf (yes you read that correctly! She stays inside sometimes and they play constantly!) and this boy loves nothing more than to cuddle up with you on the couch. Roscoe was saved from the Lancaster shelter euthanasia list and he shows his gratitude every single day. This big-headed baby is one for the books and he deserves an absolutely spectacular home so he can show you just exactly how much love he can give.
He is between 2-3 years old, is vaccinated, and will be neutered before adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roscoe, a Dallas American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Dallas, or seeking a American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
