Meet Averie..... a 1.5 year old, 45lb neutered Catahoula Hound/Rottie Mix who was found clinging to life in Ensenada, Mexico.  Suffering from severe mange and starvation, Averie was rescued by us and over a period of months was nursed back to health.  He has a goofy personality and lies between medium to high energy.  Averie will require a yard in his new home where he can stretch his legs during the day and would love to have a canine buddy to wrestle with.  He is housebroken, uses a doggy door, and won't tear up the home while you're away.  He is good with other dogs, cats and older kids (he tends to knock the little ones over).  Averie LOVES people and is friendly and sociable with everyone he meets.  He knows "sit" and "shake" but would benefit from basic obedience classes.  He enjoys going to dog parks, Fiesta Island, and loves to play fetch.  When he is all  tuckered out, he will cuddle up with you and snore in your lap for hours.  If you would like to meet Averie, please go to our website, www.stpacossecondchancedogrescue.org to submit an application.  Averie is up to date on all vaccines, is neutered and microchipped.  Averie's adoption fee is $250.

About St Paco's Second Chance Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

St. Paco's Second Chance Dog Rescue is a 501(c)3 Non-profit dog rescue in San Diego, CA .....

St. Paco's Second Chance Rescue was founded by volunteers in San Diego. Our goal is to "Rescue, Rehabilitate, Rehome" rescued dogs from San Diego and Baja California.

We love Baja and understand that it is a struggle for some of the people to provide a proper home and care for their dogs. We rescue dogs that are running through traffic, starving on the streets and have no one to care for them. Sadly, many are in poor condition and need medical care. We provide that care with the help of volunteers and veterinarians on both sides of the border. Our adoption fees go to pay for this care.

Our dogs and puppies are kept in loving foster homes until they find their forever homes. If you see a dog/puppy you would like to meet, we will put you in touch with the foster family. We also do adoption events around San Diego, please check our website for upcoming events.

Our "Baja Blends" as we like to call them make wonderful pets and will shower you with love to show you how grateful they are to be in a loving home.

We are most grateful to those who adopt a dog that has been rescued and especially one of ours.
