Nina's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Nina's Story...
Nina and her adorable brother Stanley were rescued along with their mother from an outdoor colony in the heights district of Jersey City. Nina is a beautiful white and grey female who is playful and a little more shy than her brother. This pair were adopted but had to be surrendered back to us after only a few weeks due to the adopter having health issues. They are seven months old, very sweet and are closely bonded to one another. While we haven't exposed them to dogs, they have been handled by children with no issues and have transitioned into foster care with ease. If you want double the fun, consider these two kitties to make yours a happy home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nina, a Jersey City Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Jersey City, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Jersey City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jersey City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jersey City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jersey City paves the way for another one to be saved.
