Zima (Russian for Snow) is a 1 1/2 year old gorgeous long haired cat. She was found at a gas station where we learned she had been abandoned by her owner, an ex-coworker at the station. Zima is truly as sweet as they can come.

Our feline adoption fee is $125. Zima is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines (rabies and FVRCP) and is combo tested negative. At intake, Zima had a dental cleaning.

About Our Rescue Group...

Ruff Life Animal Rescue is a non-profit, all volunteer, foster home based organization. Our mission is to rescue lost, homeless and abandoned dogs from our community and the surrounding area. We care for protect and provide the animals with medical care, including spay or neuter, until adoption into a loving, forever home.

Ruff Life was founded on October 22, 2012 and since our beginning, we have rescued 200+ animals.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a facility for the public to view our animals. All our dogs are in private foster homes. Adoption events are the best way to come meet and interact with our dogs.

To meet one of our dogs outside an adoption event, we require an approved application on file. This includes a submitted application, vet reference, 2 personal references and an applicant interview.

Our Adoption Process...

To be eligible for adoption you must be 25+ and live local.

Our adoption fee is $250 unless otherwise stated.

All dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, fecal tested and up to date on flea/tick and heart worm prevention before adoption. Puppies are up to date on age appropriate shots. Adults are also up to date on vaccines and heart worm tested (and treated if positive).

Our adoption process is:
1. Adoption application
2. Vet reference
3. 2 Personal references
4. Interview (phone or in person)
5. Meet and Greet
6. Home visit
7. Adoption contract/fee
