A volunteer writes: My heart aches for Bruno, a wonderful gentleman who was adopted from the Care Center years ago and is now back--because the teenager who loved him has gone to college, and no one in his household has `the time` to take care of him. It''s a head scratcher, since Bruno is just about the easiest and sweetest kitty I''ve ever met. This mushball spends his days lounging in his cat condo, greeting new humans gently, and dealing very well with all the life changes he''s encountered in the last few weeks. His former family vouched for his friendliness and good behavior, telling us that he was good with kids of all ages. Our behavior staff confirmed his awesome manner, awarding Bruno a top grade on his assessment test. Please consider bringing our good boy Bruno into your home--and making it the forever kind.

Another volunteer writes: Bruno sounds like a tough name but he is as sweet as sugar! He is beautiful? At first he is a little shy. Talking softly warms him up! He loves his whiskers and ears rubbed. After that he wants his body rubbed. Bruno has never met a treat that he didn''t like. Feather toys, especially the fishing pole toys that have feathers! He really likes to play! So if playful and affectionate is what you are looking for, come to the Manhattan Animal Care Center, and meet your new forever friend!
