â Sophie is a charming and pretty girl with a lot of energy and so much love to give. She was surrendered by a family that did not want to take the time and patience necessary to help her deal with her anxiety. She is always happy and curious and after being regularly rewarded when she is patient and calm, her anxiety has significantly decreasing. She loves to be close to her people, lying on feet or resting her head on a chest or in a lap. Sophie loves all dogs, cats and people. She needs exercise daily and loves running off leash at the Rice Creek Dog Park . She stays close when off lease, listens and has good recall. She would be happy in a home with another dog for company. She is food motivated and is easy to train with healthy treats. Raw carrots, apples and zucchini are some of her favorites. With her people, s he is a quiet and gentle dog that loves to snuggle but also a vigilant watchdog. She is a scent hound that loves a game of hunting for hidden treats and playing fetch. Sophie is very smart and knows commands 'sit, down and shake'. She is very eager to please and working to improve her loose-leash walking skills. Look into her beautiful golden eyes; Could you be Sophie's Choice? â
