I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
We are happy to introduce an All-American dog to you! Pong is a happy, go-lucky Lab mix who will do well in most active homes. Pong was in danger at an overcrowded shelter when we stepped up to rescue him and his sibling, Ping. Pong is only about one year old and has been exposed to many people, always greeting them in a friendly manner. Pong is crate trained, walks well on a leash and will do his potty business outside when kept on a consistent routine. He weighs about 40 pounds. Pong is a a playful guy and enjoys hours of fun playing with his brother. Pong would do great with a guardian who could work with him to teach him basic training. He loves to be outside so if you are the outdoor type, look no further than Pong! He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm tested. Pong is patiently waiting for adoption applications at ITVRescue.org. Please do not wait too long as Pong is ready to start his happily ever after!
It Takes A Village Canine Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) dog rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless dogs irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, animal control, trainers, and boarding facilities, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, black dogs and other hard-to-place dogs.
Come Meet Our Pets...

Our Adoption Process...
We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $150 to $175. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.
