Brody Bo Dean's Story...
Meet Miss Brody Bo Dean. She's a cute 6 year old Boston Terrier mix that is in need of a new home. Brody's owner committed suicide, so we were not left with much in the way of history, behavior or training. Brody seems very shy but sweet. May not be good with small children due to her shy disposition. We took her in at Friendship because she had nowhere else to go. Please consider this nice girl for adoption. Her world has been turned upside-down. She would love to get back into a stable and loving home. Miss Bo Dean was adopted for one day and returned. She was too possessive of her owner and didn't want anyone else around her.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brody Bo Dean, a Elyria Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Elyria, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
