Isabelle is a 2.5 year old boxer mix. From Isabelle's foster mom:

I took Isabelle in this week when a friend of mine decided to move to Charlotte to find a job and home. She no longer could care for Isabelle and asked me to find her a home. Isabelle is energetic and loves to play, but once she is comfortable in a home she likes to lounge and follow you around. Very sweet and loving. She's great with children who are older. Tends to jump still so needs a little obedience help with that. She likes to play with chew toys, and she knows when it's time for bed. She LOVES to cuddle. She also lets you know when she has to use the bathroom. Izzy is great, but I think she would do much better in a home without another pet, as she has shown some dominant behavior with our other dogs.  Overall, Isabelle has been such a pleasure to have in our home.

About Brother Wolf Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Brother Wolf Animal Rescue is known for their excellence in matching people with the best dog or cat that would suit their lifestyle. Today we are proud to have the largest NO-KILL shelter in Asheville. Brother Wolf Animal Rescue was established in 2006. We started off as a very small group of people, taking dogs and cats from gassing shelters in GA. We found wonderful homes for these animals but realized while we were saving these particular animals, we had a much bigger problem in our community that we needed to face. Perfectly healthy, highly adoptable animals in our community are being euthanized every day. Rescued pets are not broken or damaged goods. They are wonderful animals who have ended up homeless through no fault of their own.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our facility is located at 31 Glendale Avenue in Asheville, off Swannanoa River Rd, 1/2 mile from Lowe's. Open every day.

Our Adoption Process...

All adoptions will require a contract and discussions with one of our adoption counselors. Based on the needs of the particular animal, we reserve the right to require a home visit at the discretion of the adoption counselor. All our animals will be altered before adoption and up-to-date on standard vaccinations. We do collect an adoption fee.
