The name Estella is derived from the old Latin word stella meaning star, and this adorable little love is a shining star indeed! Armed with endearingly adorable looks and a dynamic personality, Estella is certainly a volunteer favorite. In fact, one of our volunteers couldn’t resist her charm so much so that he decided to bring her home as his foster girl. Estella transitioned very easily into a home environment. She gets along very well with the other dogs in the household, and even likes to playfully chase and engage with the resident cat (even though we can’t really say if the latter feels the same way). Estella loves the company of people, and she wants to be everyone’s constant companion. She is housebroken, and goes outside on a regular schedule when let out. She is also crate trained, and is very good about going into her crate. Estella is a tiny little girl weighing all of 10 pounds, and she is somewhere between a year and a year and a half of age as of January 2017. Sweet, spunky, playful, loving, affectionate, and all-around wonderful (as her foster dad can attest), Estella will make a great addition to any lucky family!
