Peaches was a stray who ended up at IACS (formerly IACC). She was tested with dogs and didn't do well which meant she was deemed "rescue only". Well, not many people are looking for a pittie mix who doesn't like other dogs (or cats) and no rescues came forward. We were hesitant too. A fantastic foster offered to take Peaches and give her a great temporary home. Of course we couldn't say no.
Peaches is so wonderful with people. She is very friendly and loves young and old equally. Like we said above, she does need to be an only pet in the home though. She is a little strong on leash (Easy Walk harness is helpful). Otherwise, she is a well-behaved and a doll to share a home with.
Peaches is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. She is solidly housebroken and quiet in her crate. Minus the aversion to other animals, Peaches is perfection.
