Myrtle LOVES kids!'s Story...
Hi! I'm Myrtle! I'm a 6 year old, 23 lb Beagle/Doxie Mix with some pretty awesome feetsies! Don't worry, I'm just fine, I was most likely born with my paws like this! It slows me down just a bit so if you are a jogger or an avid hiker I might not be for you but I do love walks and I really love napping! I'm a very mellow, easy going gal! I am spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and house broken. I am being fostered in Echo Park! If you would like to meet me please visit our website for an application www.apurposefulrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Myrtle LOVES kids!, a Los Angeles Beagle/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Dachshund for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Beagle/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Dachshund breeders who help with Beagle/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
