Zoey's Story...
Looking for love?
Meet Zoey!
Zoey is a 10 year old Husky/Collie mix girl who is just as sweet as can be!
Zoey's previous owner loved her very much, but unfortunately his health failed badly and he was no longer able to care for her. Zoey is a bit lost here, not sure what happened to her life or why. We're looking for someone to give this senior girl all the love she's missing.
This girl is completely house trained, she knows "sit", "lie down", "heel", "up", and she can pick objects up off of the floor and give them to you.
Zoey loves car rides, is good with cats and great with kids (although being an older gal, we recommend that she go to a home with kids who will be old enough to know not to hurt her). Zoey is fearful of loud noises like gunshots and fireworks and will seek out her person for comfort when she's scared. She seems to be good with other dogs, but a meet and greet with an existing dog is needed to make sure that the chemistry is right on both sides.
Does Zoey sound like the right dog for you? Stop in to meet this sweet girl!
Zoey's adoption fee is partially sponsored, so she's only $50 to adopt! Zoey also qualifies for our Senior to Senior program - senior people can adopt senior pets for reduced rates!

Zoey has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and has tested neg. for heartworm which is included in the $50 adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this dog, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey, a Seville Collie/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Husky for sale in Seville, or seeking a Collie/Husky dog from a breeder in Seville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Husky breeders who help with Collie/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seville paves the way for another one to be saved.
