Amber is a 3-year-old Retriever mix with beautiful hazel eyes who was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Houston. She's is now in Seattle, waiting for her forever family!
Amber is a sweet, good-natured girl who enjoys getting lots of love and attention. She is gentle and sweet with young children. A bundle of energy who loves to play, she'll need to join a fairly active family and/or a family with another dog for her to play with. Her foster family says she is doing a great job learning the routine at home and calming down when appropriate. She is also learning boundaries and starting to lose interest in the cats.
Amber is housebroken and crate-trained. Medical Note: Amber tested positive for heart worm and has undergone treatment with the rescue. She will need to continue to receive the treatment medicine through most of 2017, which will be covered by the rescue. After that, she will be cured! She is completely healthy otherwise. Please email us with questions.
Adoption Fee: $595 - Includes spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, heart worm test & treatment, grooming, microchip, boarding fees, health certificate, transport cost from Texas to Seattle, and any other unforeseen costs.
