Francine & Phyllis - Bonded-N's Story...
Meet sisters Francine and Phyllis. Francine is the darker of the two. They were born around 2013 and weigh around 50 lbs each. They are very bonded so we are looking for a home to adopt them both and keep them together. They find great love and comfort in each other, it's heartwarming to witness. They have sweet, loving temperaments however they are very shy. They will go limp and lay flat upon first meeting but if the human sits and waits for them to come to them they will crawl over and sit in your lap. They love to be petted. They need practice leash walking; they prefer and do best when being walked together. The right kind of home for this pair would be a loving, patient and quiet one that has the time to work with them to build up their confidence and gain their trust. What you will get in return will be triple-fold as they have a lot of love to give. If interested, please contact RickyC68@aol.com and please include a phone number where you can be reached. Thank you.

Please note we are always in need of foster homes for our dogs. If interested in making a difference in a dog's life, please let us know...we would love to share with you what it means to be a foster parent.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Francine & Phyllis - Bonded-N, a Huntington Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie for sale in Huntington, or seeking a Collie dog from a breeder in Huntington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie breeders who help with Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington paves the way for another one to be saved.
