Petey joined our Shelter family after living on the streets for quite awhile. We are uncertain of his history with children and other animals. Petey is a 1 year old neutered male up to date on his shots. He is very quiet and scared, but looking for the right person to play string toys with and to read him stories.

About Our Shelter...
The North Kingstown Animal Shelter is a division of the North Kingstown Police Department. We take in a wide variety of cats and dogs. Please check back with us regularly to see who is currently staying with us!
We always welcome new volunteers who would love to help our animals! If you would like to volunteer stop by the shelter and fill out an application. You must be at least 18 years old to volunteer. Thank you!

We are open to the public 7 days a week (except holidays) from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Adoption hours are 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

There is an application required, and the fee varies with the animal.
