Judy's Story...
Judy was rescued with her three brothers and their father from the streets of Puerto Rico. She is a Sato, and lucky to be in NJ now. Judy was the last one caught, so she is still a little reserved, but is quickly learning to trust humans. Dad had been someones pet, he is now available for adoption through Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue ("Charlie"). Mom is a Golden mix, and still eluding the kind hearted rescuers who have helped the rest of her family. Born in late July, this little girl is sure to warm your heart.
All our dogs/pups are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They have been dewormed and are current on vaccinations. Our adoption fee includes 30 days of complimentary medical insurance for your new pet. Breed and size is frequently a guess and can not be guaranteed.
Our dogs are fostered on a private residence, we do not have a free standing shelter. They live on a farm where they run and play with other dogs, cats, horses, and barnyard fowl.
Initial contact with us must be made through e-mail.
E-mail ARFofMercer@gmail.com for an adoption application or with any questions. Once your adoption application is approved, you will be invited to meet our dogs/puppies.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Judy, a Pennigton Golden Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Pennigton, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Pennigton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pennigton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pennigton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pennigton paves the way for another one to be saved.
