Gobo's Story...
Gobo came into a high kill shelter as a stray. He was so mortified there he was immobile. He couldn't do anything but shake. We got him out after receiving a call from the shelter director saying he was no doing well in that environment. He needed out asap. A very nice foster went and got him for us and he was immediately better. He is calm for a Jack Russell, extremely calm. He's 14 pounds and sweet. Gets along with other dogs and is unusual in the fact that he's calm much of the time. Looking for a non smoking home for him. Someone who likes to go on long walks and maybe has a fenced yard or likes to go to the dog park. He's fine in the car. Call or text us at 517 294 4514 or email me at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gobo, a Ypsilanti Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Ypsilanti, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Ypsilanti.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ypsilanti already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ypsilanti breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ypsilanti paves the way for another one to be saved.
